
During the 2009/10 ski season, and for the 4th year in succession, Nissan have appointed our Network Team to plan, buy and implement a multi-market tactical campaign across a number of European countries.
The latest activity spanned 13 separate resorts across 8 countries (Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Finland and Norway), and incorporated the use of several delivery mechanisms to ensure Nissan’s communication operated on several levels. These included a variety of display formats - wrapped buses, branded gondolas, traditional billboards and directional signage, chair-lift handlebars, car placements and safety-barriers, for example.
Strategically-located cameras captured images of skiers who then visited the Nissan website to download their pictures. In addition, a team of experiential promoters working daily between 10am and 4pm within the resorts, distributed Nissan collateral including pocket flyers in order to drive traffic to the website, and increase participation in a competition to win a car.
