GE Case Study

GE Corporate tasked OMD International and PSI to find a means of increasing awareness of their focus on Ecomagination, Healthcare and Research, whilst building the profile of their business and leveraging their sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympics.

The scale and environment of Heathrow’s Terminal 5 was considered suitably prestigious for the brief, and PSI sourced landmark site locations to address 100% of the target audience accordingly.    

The Global Gateway network of locations was identified and acquired on a long-term basis, together with significant exposure on digital and traditional inventory in departures areas throughout Terminal 5, thanks to PSI’s buying power.   

The four Global Gateways each measure almost 30m x 3.6m, and deliver over 400 square metres of display space.  Their status amongst the world’s largest illuminated airport advertising sites, together with the unique use of groundbreaking electrolyte production processes to bring the creative alive, renders them unmissable.

PSI managed the entire project from media negotiations through to implementation.  With their activity now into its second year, GE are now a major part of the airport advertising landscape at T5.
